1 out of 5 stars Magellan Maestro 3250   November 12, 2008

I had my GPS for over 6 months and loved it-very intuitive user friendly interface, quick acquisition, NO nonessential bells and whistles. I would have given it 5 stars. Reason for a one star: when I received the email from Magellan that a new maps update for the 2008/2009 is available for a download for "only" $79.00, I screamed bloody murder. I understand that the update should cost some money, but almost 50% of the purchase price seems like a big ripoff to me. It's my fault for not reading/investigating the upgrade policy, but be aware.
